Education and Girl-Child Development

We believe that education is the foundation of empowerment.
Our education programs focus on increasing school enrolment and retention, especially for adolescent girls, and ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn in a safe, inclusive environment.

Our services include:

  1. Advocacy and community sensitization on the importance of education.
  2. Support for school enrolment and re-enrolment of out-of-school children.
  3. Life skills and digital literacy training for girls.
  4. Partnership with schools and local authorities to improve learning outcomes.
 

Health and Disease Prevention

We are committed to improving health and quality of life through prevention, education, and access to care. SOCSEE works to strengthen community health systems by addressing TB, HIV/AIDS, malaria, family planning, and maternal and child health (MNCH).

Our services include:

  1. Community TB screening, case finding, and referral for treatment.
  2. HIV testing, counseling, and awareness.
  3. Reproductive health and family planning education.
  4. Nutrition and immunization support for children and mothers.
  5. Behaviour change communication for healthy lifestyles.

Economic Empowerment and Livelihood Support

Poverty reduction starts with empowerment. SOCSEE equips women, caregivers, and youth with the skills and resources they need to become self-reliant and financially independent.

Our services include:

  1. Vocational and entrepreneurship training for women and youth.
  2. Establishment and mentoring of Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs).
  3. Financial literacy and business development sessions.
  4. Start-up support for micro-enterprises and small businesses
 

Advocacy, Peace, and Good Governance

We believe that development thrives where there is peace, equality, and accountability. SOCSEE promotes citizen engagement, transparency, and inclusion through advocacy and partnership.

Our services include:

  1. Advocacy for gender equality, peacebuilding, and human rights.
  2. Support for community protection structures to prevent GBV and child abuse.
  3. Dialogue and collaboration between communities and government institutions.
  4. Training for local leaders on inclusive governance and accountability.
